A memorial crystal keeps a face in light. The best ones start with a clear photo, a few simple words and a crystal that stands on an LED base.
Choose the photo
- A photo where the face is sharp and evenly lit matters more than a perfect pose. A close crop of a group photo often works well.
- Old prints are fine: photograph them flat by a window, without glare, and the site sharpens and cleans them.
- Let the site remove the background, so the person floats in clear glass.
Add the words
Start from the "In memory" occasion in the studio: it sets the lettering, font and size in one tap. Two short lines read best, such as a name and the years. The lettering sits a little above the bottom of the crystal, so its reflection in the bottom face stays out of view.
Pick the crystal
- A standing Portrait Block (50 × 50 × 80 mm) gives the face the most height on the xTool F2 Ultra UV.
- A heart crystal or a heart outline on a block suits a softer keepsake.
- Premium quality gives the smoothest face.
Two photos in one
Turn & Reveal hides a second photo in the side of the crystal: the person from the front and a favourite place, a pet or a second photo when you turn it. The two faces line up automatically.
